While Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are making news on a daily basis on just about anything they do, Katy Perry is quietly making her way to the record book for her spectacular selling power.

Her current single, Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F) looks like it has a good shot at going all the way to the No. 1 spot (it jumped from No, 31 to No. 4 in just one week) on the Billboard Hot 100, and if it does, this means Katy will have five No. 1s from her Teenage Dream album. The last time an artiste had five No. 1 singles from an album was the late Michael Jackson with the 1987 album Bad.

 

But that's not all. Katy's former No. 1 hit single E.T. has just crossed the four million mark in digital sales. It's her fifth song to reach that status (others being Hot N Cold, California Gurls, Firework and I Kissed A Girl). No other artiste has achieved that feat! Katy's closest competitors are Lady Gaga and Rihanna, both of whom have had three 4 million-sellers.
